We can assure you if you meet all the qualifying criteria then you will receive 100% of the cost, you will not have to pay anything towards the work carried out. The new scheme (ECO3) was introduced on the 1st October 2018, the criteria has been relaxed in order for more households to benefit from the grants, so there is a very good chance you will now be eligible.
The money comes from Energy suppliers such as British Gas, NPower, etc. The Government have set the utility companies targets to reduce carbon emissions. It is the occupier of a property that is entitled to a grant as they pay the fuel bills. Private tenants are entitled to grants, depending on their circumstances. We will need written permission from your landlord before going ahead with the work, but we will take care of this for you.
